Delivery

How much is delivery?

The cost of delivery depends on your country of residence, the product and the weight of it. For example, delivery to the Republic or Ireland starts at €3.50 for our aluminium house numbers and letters. An exact cost will be calculated at checkout. 

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to the Republic and North of Ireland, EU (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden) and the USA. We will soon be delivering to the UK.

How long does delivery take?

We dispatch our standard, non personalised products the same day the order is placed (ordered before 3pm, mon-thur). Personalised products (wood and corian) can take up to 3 days to produce.

Delivery should be the next day for the Republic of Ireland, 1-2 days for Northern Ireland, 3-4 days for the rest of the EU and 3-7 working days for international orders (USA).

Who will deliver my order?

We use An Post for our delivery service.

I am ordering from the USA, are customs fees included?

Our prices currently do not include Customs/Duties/Import Taxes. You would be require to check in with your local import custom laws for the prices you would be charged. Please refer to this page for more information. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Our Products

Where are your products made?

We hand make all our products in our workshop in Shankhill, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

How do I make a bespoke order enquiry?

Drop us an email with your name, number and as much sign details as possible (size, color, material). We will get back to you to ensure the job can be done along with a competitive quote.

How do the floating house numbers fix to the wall?

Our floating house numbers have raised plastic mounts on the back and come with all the parts you need to fix them to your wall. Check out the installation here.

What is corian?

Corian combines strength and durability with beauty and design flexibility, enabling signs to be produced that are both visually exciting and virtually everlasting. It is extremely durable and non-porous, a superb material for routing and engraving. Its consistent, homogeneous quality and high density enables an exceptional standard of finish. The lighter colours are UV resistant and will not fade or weather over time outdoors.

Do your house numbers come in different sizes?

Yes. We sell our standard sizes online but if you are looking for a custom size, colour or material, contact us with the details (e.g. size, material, sign details, etc.) and we'll be happy to create a bespoke piece for you.

Where is your wood sourced?

Housenumbers.ie use a teak hardwood for all it's house and numbers signs and work closely with a local joinery workshop in Co. Louth, Ireland. Teak is one of the hardest, strongest and most durable of all timbers as it contains a natural oil which repeals water, is highly resistant to any rotting and almost impervious to the effects of hot sun, warping, cracking, frost or snow. We offer a dark stain and clear varnish option or just a clear varnish finish which can naturally vary in colour from light to dark brown.

How do I clean my sign?

To maintain the appearance of your house sign and keep it looking new, simply give it a wipe over with a soft cloth with soapy water.

Do I need to drill the holes in my sign?

No, all our screw on signs have pre drilled holes which come with all the parts you need for fixing it on your wall (see installation here).

Are the signs weatherproof?

All corian and aluminium products are waterproof. Our wood products have two protective coatings, which will protect it up to about two years depending on the external environement but as with all wood products, to prolong their life, we suggest monitoring and maintenance.

Returns & Refunds

I’ve received a faulty or incorrect item, what do I do next?

In the event that the product you received is not what you expected, we are very sorry. Your happiness is our top priority so please get in contact with us with details and photos (if possible) and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

Please do not throw away the product if it is faulty, as we need to see the condition of it to asses the matter.

Do you refund delivery charges if I return something?

Unfortunately, the cost of returning products is not covered. 

I sent an order back for refund, when can I expect the money back in my account?

We will process the refund directly to your payment card, in no more than 14 days after we have received the product back in good and satisfactory condition.

Amending an order

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel a non personalised product order as long as it has not been dispatched yet. If you have placed a personalised product order and the product has been made, your order can not be cancelled. But please reach out to us by calling +353 (0)87 2345313 and we will do our best to assist you.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Maestro debit and credit cards as well as digital wallets like Apple Pay, Pay Pal and Google Pay.
